How to Get Started

Setting Up and Running SummaryPro

In the Support area, you’ll find everything you need, including the Getting Started Guide and a comprehensive user manual.

3. After Downloading the ZIP File:

  1. Extract the ZIP file.
  2. Mark the downloaded files as "unblocked" (right-mouse on each file, properties and tick the "unblock" box).
  3. Move:
    • The SummaryPro Excel and Visio file pair to your preferred location.
    • The Visio stencils (SummaryPro Shapes.vss and SummaryPro.vss) to the folder where Visio stores stencils (usually My Shapes in your Documents folder).
  4. Save a backup of the original Excel and Visio files for future use.

4. When opening the Excel file for the first time:

  • Enable macros
  • Complete the setup form to activate your 21-day trial.
  • Use this dialogue to purchase a license or enter an existing license number as needed.
